Overview
After purchasing a GMAT or Executive Assessment (EA) prep product, you can access your materials through your mba.com account.
This article explains how to:
- Access purchased prep products
- Locate products that do not appear in your account
- Find your confirmation email
- Troubleshoot common access issues
Accessing Your Official Prep Materials
GMAT and Executive Assessment prep products are accessed through one of two platforms:
- Official Prep Platform (GMAT Practice Exams, Practice Questions, Online Question Bank, and all Executive Assessment prep products)
- Wiley eBooks Platform (GMAT Official eBooks)
Follow the instructions below for your product type.
Accessing Products Through the Official Prep Platform
The following instructions apply to:
- GMAT Practice Exams
- GMAT Practice Questions
- GMAT Online Question Bank
- All Executive Assessment Prep products
Step 1: Sign In to Your mba.com Account
- Go to mba.com/my-account.
- Sign in using the same email address used to purchase the product.
- Under Purchased Products, locate your prep product.
- Select:
- Access GMAT Official Prep for GMAT products
- Access Purchased Executive Assessment Prep for Executive Assessment products
First-Time Access: Activate Your Product
Each prep product has a unique activation code. If you purchased multiple products, you must redeem each activation code separately.
If this is the first time you are using the product:
- Click Redeem Activation Code in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Copy the activation code from your purchase confirmation email.
- Paste the code into the activation field.
- Click Continue.
Once activated, the product will be available in your Prep account for future use.
Returning Users
If you have already activated your product:
- Open the Prep platform using the appropriate Access button.
- Use the product selector in the upper-left corner of the screen, next to the GMAC logo.
- Select the product you want to access from the drop-down menu.
Your activated products will appear in this menu.
Accessing the 2026 - 2027 GMAT Official Guide eBooks
GMAT Official eBooks are accessed through Wiley's online reader platform and are not available through the GMAT Official Prep platform.
First-Time Access: Redeem Your eBook
- Go to read.wiley.com/redeem.
- Sign in to your existing Wiley account or create a new Wiley account.
- Select Redeem.
- Enter the activation code from your purchase confirmation email.
- Complete the redemption process.
Once redeemed, the eBook will be added to your Wiley Bookshelf.
Returning Users
To access an eBook you have already redeemed:
- Go to Bookshelf - Wiley Reader
- Sign into your account
- Select the eBook you want to view.
An internet connection is required to access and redeem GMAT Official eBooks.
Instructions for Accessing the 2024 - 2025 and 2025 - 2026 Official Guide eBooks:
In order to use the GMAT™ Official eBook product you just purchased, you must have access to the internet.
- Go to http://bookshelf.vitalsource.com
- Click Create a VitalSource account to create a new account or log in, if you already have a VitalSource account
- Sign in with your newly created account email and password
- Click Redeem or go to http://bookshelf.vitalsource.com/redeem and enter the access code in the text box
- Once your code is redeemed, your book will be added to your Bookshelf
Can't Find Your Activation Code?
Your activation code is included in the purchase confirmation email sent after your purchase is completed.
If you cannot locate the email:
- Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders.
- Confirm that you are searching the email account used to complete the purchase.
- Contact Customer Care if you still cannot locate your activation code.
I Purchased a Product but Cannot Find It
If you received a confirmation email and your prep product does not appear in your account:
Confirm You Are Using the Correct Account
Many access issues occur because the purchase was completed under a different email address.
Verify that you are signed in to the same mba.com account used when the order was placed.
Check Your Confirmation Email
After a successful purchase, a confirmation email is sent to the email address associated with your mba.com account.
Search your inbox, junk, spam, and promotions folders for emails from mba.com.
Allow Time for Processing
Most purchases are available immediately. In some cases, it may take a short time for the product to appear in your account.
Sign out and back in, then check your account again.
How Long Do I Have Access to My Prep Products?
Most GMAT and Executive Assessment prep products are available for 12 months from the date of purchase, as outlined in the product Terms of Use.
For products accessed through the Official Prep platform, you can view the expiration date at any time by:
- Signing in to your mba.com account.
- Navigating to the prep platform.
- Selecting the product from the drop-down menu.
- Viewing the expiration date displayed for that product.
GMAT Official eBooks are accessed through Wiley Bookshelf and do not display an expiration date in the Official Prep platform.
Once a product expires, it can no longer be accessed unless a new purchase is made.
