If you are having trouble downloading, installing, or launching the GMAT secure browser, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Download the latest version
- Make sure you are using the most recent version of the secure browser
- Even if you tested before, a newer version may be required
- Download the latest version from the System Requirements page
- The download file includes both the browser and installation instructions
Step 2: Check system requirements
- Confirm your computer meets all requirements listed on the System Requirements page
- You must have administrator (admin) rights to install the secure browser
Step 3: Check for common blockers
These are the most common reasons the secure browser will not install or open:

Antivirus software
- May block installation or launch
- You may need to temporarily disable it

Browser extensions or background applications
- Can interfere with launching the secure browser
- Disable extensions or unnecessary applications before trying again
Step 4: Try again after changes
After completing the steps above:
- Restart your computer
- Attempt to install or launch the secure browser again
