If you were asked by support to provide your exam logs, follow the steps below based on your device. These logs help our technical team investigate issues from your exam session.
Mac
Respondus log files are hidden on Mac and must be accessed using Terminal.
Steps:
- Open Terminal
- Copy and paste the following command:
cp /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/LockDown Browser OEM/* ~/Desktop/
- Press Enter
- The log files will be copied to your Desktop
Windows PC
Steps:
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to:
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Respondus\OEMlogs\
- Locate the log files in this folder
Important
- Share all log files from your exam day
- Do not rename or modify the files
- Attach the files directly to your support request
