What is the test taker identification process on the day of the exam?
Exam at the Test Centre in India: All test takers will have to go through an identification process on the day of the exam. Digital photograph and signature of each test taker will be taken and kept for records. You are also required to show identification documents as per the ID requirements. Any test taker not willing to participate in the identification process will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Please note that exam will be administered under video surveillance.
Online Proctored Exam at Home: All test takers will have to go through an identification process on the day of the exam. You are also required to show identification documents as per the ID requirements. Any test taker not willing to participate in the identification process will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Please note that exam will be online proctored, recorded and audited for test security incidents and prohibited practices.
When should I report for the exam?
Exam at the Test Centre in India: You must report to the test centre forty five (45) minutes prior to the scheduled time mentioned on your admit card.
Online Proctored Exam at Home:
- Login to http://mba.com/nmat 15 mins prior to your exam time.
- The "Begin Exam" button will be enabled.
- Click on "Begin Exam" button and you will be redirected to Examity site.

Will I be able to take my exam if I am late?
Exam at the Test Centre in India: You will not be permitted to take the exam and will have to forfeit the exam fee if you arrive after 15 mins of your scheduled exam start time.
Online Proctored Exam at Home: You will not be permitted to take the exam and will have to forfeit the exam fee if you login fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled exam start time.
