If your payment did not go through, it means the payment was declined or could not be completed by your bank or card provider. Based on the transactions we have seen, these are the most likely reasons:
- Your bank has not permitted this type of transaction on your card.
- Your bank could not verify you at the OTP / 3D Secure step (verification service failure at the bank).
- Your card is not enabled for online (e-commerce) transactions, or is not in active use.
- Your bank has placed usage restrictions on this card.
- A temporary processing error occurred while the payment was being sent to your bank.
- The card expiry date or CVV entered did not match the card.
- Your bank declined/did not authorize the payment.
- There were not enough funds in the account.
What you should do next:
- Please reach out to your bank, or your credit / debit card provider, for further information on why the payment was declined. Only they can confirm the exact reason on your account or card.
- If your bank or card provider informs you that the payment was successful from their end, please write to us at nmatsupport@gmac.com and we will investigate.
- If your bank or card provider informs you that there is an issue with your netbanking, credit card or debit card, please try making the payment again using a different bank account, credit or debit card.
