This article answers common questions about managing your GMAT appointment, including appointment visibility, appointment details, admit card requirements, and changing exam types or delivery methods.
These instructions apply to both GMAT test center appointments and the GMAT online unless otherwise noted.
Appointment Missing from My Account
If your GMAT appointment is not appearing in your mba.com account:
- Confirm you are logged into the same mba.com account used to register for the exam.
- Refresh the page or sign out and back in.
- Review your email for a confirmation message from mba.com or Pearson VUE/Talview.
If you still cannot locate your appointment, contact GMAC Customer Care and include:
- Your full name
- GMAT appointment date
- Delivery method (Test Center or Online)
- The email address associated with your mba.com account
Where Can I Find My Admit Card?
An admit card is not required for the GMAT.
You do not need to present an admit card to take your exam.
What Is Required
To be admitted to your exam, you must present a valid, acceptable ID that exactly matches the name and date of birth entered in your GMAT profile.
If your ID does not meet all of the requirements, you may be denied entry and your exam fee may be forfeited.
How Do I View My Appointment Details?
To view your GMAT appointment details:
- Sign in to your mba.com My Account.
- Locate your exam appointment.
- Select View Details.
Your appointment details may include:
- Exam date and time
- Delivery method
- Test center location (if applicable)
- Appointment status
Why Is the Launch Button for My GMAT Online Exam Not Available?
The Launch button for a GMAT online exam will appear in your mba.com account approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
If your exam is scheduled to begin within 30 minutes and the Launch button is still not available:
- Refresh the page
- Sign out and back into your mba.com account
- Confirm you are logged into the same account used to register for the exam
- Verify that the appointment date and time are correct
If the Launch button still does not appear within 30 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, contact GMAC Customer Care for assistance.
Can I Change My Exam Delivery Method?
GMAT appointments cannot be directly changed from test center to online, or from online to test center.
To change delivery methods, you must:
- Cancel your current appointment
- Schedule a new appointment for your preferred delivery method

Can I Transfer My GMAT Appointment to the Executive Assessment?
GMAT appointments cannot be converted into Executive Assessment appointments.
If you would like to take the Executive Assessment instead:
- Cancel your GMAT appointment, if eligible.
- Schedule a new Executive Assessment appointment separately.
Refund and rescheduling policies will apply based on the timing of your request and your original appointment type.
