When Are Scores Reportable?
Scores are generally reportable within five business days, but it may take up to 20 days. You will receive an email notification when your Official Score becomes available.
You can send your GMAT scores in two ways:
- Free Score Reports – included with your exam registration, available for 48 hours
- Additional Score Reports (ASRs) – available for purchase after your score is reportable
Free Score Reports
You may send your Official Score to up to five (5) programs for free. This must be done within 48 hours of your score becoming available on mba.com.
- You’ll receive an email when your score is reportable (check your spam folder).
- You have 48 hours to send your five free score reports.
- Programs typically receive your scores within 8 hours of your request.
To send free score reports:
- Log into your mba.com My Account.
- Find your GMAT exam and click View and Send Score.
- Click Send Score.
- Search for and select the program(s) you want to send your score to.
- Confirm your selections and click Send GMAT Score.
Additional Score Reports (ASRs)
If your 48-hour window has passed or you’ve used all five free reports, you can purchase Additional Score Reports (ASRs) for exams taken within the past 10 years. The current fee is $35 per report (subject to change).
To send ASRs for exams taken within the last 5 years:
- Log into your mba.com My Account.
- Find your GMAT exam and click View and Send Score.
- Click Send Score.
- Search for and select the program(s) you want to send your score to.
- Confirm your selections and click Send GMAT Score.
- Enter your payment information or voucher code to complete checkout.
Programs typically receive your scores within 8 hours.
Note: Screenshots or printed versions of your score report are not considered official. Official scores must be sent directly through mba.com.
Sending Scores from Exams Over 5 Years Old
If your exam was taken more than 5 years ago (but less than 10 years ago), your scores are archived and require additional processing time.
- You must use the Expired Score Request Form.
- You may only request archived scores if you have not taken a GMAT exam within the past 5 years.
- Reports will include a disclaimer advising programs to interpret older scores with caution.
Exams Over 10 Years Old
GMAT scores are retained for 10 years. After 10 years, scores are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered or reported.
