You can send your Official GMAT scores to business schools and programs through your mba.com account once your scores become reportable.
Key things to know:
- You can send up to 5 free score reports within 48 hours of your Official Score becoming available.
- After the 48-hour window expires, Additional Score Reports (ASRs) can be sent for a fee
- Schools typically receive scores within 8 hours after submission.
- Official scores are usually available within 3–5 business days after your exam, but in some cases may take up to 20 days.
You will receive an email notification when your Official Score becomes available.
When Can I Send My GMAT Scores?
Your Official GMAT score must first become reportable before you can send it to schools.
Official scores are typically available within 3–5 business days after your exam appointment, though some scores may take up to 20 days.
Once your score is available, you will receive an email notification from mba.com.
How Do I Send Free GMAT Score Reports?
You may send your Official Score to up to five (5) programs at no cost within 48 hours of your score becoming available.
To send free score reports:
- Log into your mba.com account.
- Locate your GMAT exam appointment.
- Select View and Send Score.
- Click Send Score.
- Search for and select the school or program.
- Confirm your selections.
- Select Send GMAT Score.
Schools typically receive scores within 8 hours.
What Happens After the 48-Hour Free Reporting Window?
If:
- more than 48 hours have passed since your score became reportable, or
- you already used all five free score reports,
you can still send your scores by purchasing Additional Score Reports (ASRs).

How Do I Purchase Additional Score Reports (ASRs)?
Additional Score Reports can be purchased for GMAT exams taken within the past 10 years.
To purchase Additional Score Reports:
- Log into your mba.com account.
- Locate your GMAT exam appointment.
- Select View and Send Score.
- Click Send Score.
- Search for and select the school or program.
- Confirm your selections.
- Select Send GMAT Score.
- Enter your payment information or voucher code to complete checkout.
Schools typically receive scores within 8 hours after submission.
Are Screenshots or Printed Reports Official?
No. Screenshots, PDFs, or printed copies of your score report are not considered official.
Official GMAT scores must be sent directly through mba.com.
I Don’t See the “Send Score” Option
Possible reasons include:
- Your Official Score is not yet reportable
- Your exam is more than 5 years old
- Your score is currently on hold or under review
