This article explains how to send your EA scores to schools, view your score reporting history, and answer common questions about score reporting.
Send Your Scores
You can send your official EA scores to participating schools and programs through your EA Dashboard while your scores remain valid.
To send your scores:
- Sign in to your EA Dashboard
- Go to My Programs (View More)
- Choose the score you want to send.
- Select the school(s) or program(s) that should receive your scores.
- Complete the score reporting process.
Your selected schools will receive your official EA score report electronically.
Recommendation: Waiting until after you receive your official scores is often the best strategy, as it allows you to make score reporting decisions with your actual results in hand.
If you choose to preselect schools before your exam, you must keep at least one program on your list. Once your official scores become available, you can no longer remove your selected schools.
When Will Schools Receive My Scores?
The delivery timeframe depends on how you tested and when you selected your schools.
| Testing Method | If You Preselected Schools | If You Added Schools After Testing |
|---|---|---|
| Test Center | Within 24 hours after completing your assessment | Within 24 hours after submitting your score report request |
| Online | Within 24 hours after your official scores become available | Within 24 hours after submitting your score report request |
No confirmation email is sent after your scores are delivered, and no further action is required once your score report request has been submitted.
View Your Score Reporting History
You can view the schools and programs you've previously sent scores to at any time.
To view your score reporting history:
- Sign in to your EA Dashboard
- Go to My Programs (View More)
- Choose the applicable exam.
- View your score reporting history.
Can I Remove a School After Sending My Scores?
No.
Once a score report request has been submitted, it cannot be canceled, modified, or recalled.
Please review your selected schools carefully before completing your request.
Do Schools Prefer Test Center or Online Scores?
While it is up to the schools to decide what they will accept, they receive the same official EA score report regardless of whether you tested at a test center or online.
Always check with the school(s) your are applying to, for their specific requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I send my scores more than once?
Yes. You may send valid scores to additional schools at any time during the five-year score reporting period.
My school says they haven't received my scores. What should I do?
First, verify that your score report request shows as Sent in your EA Dashboard. If it does, contact the school's admissions office to confirm they have received and matched your scores to your application.
If a school contact is unable to access your results, they should contact gmatprogram@gmac.com for support.
